    Our Repairs Processing Center only accepts repairs for items purchased on https://jimsjewelrybydesign.com.

    At Jim’s Jewelry by Design quality and craftsmanship is of our utmost concern. However, jewelry by its very nature is delicate. If you should experience the need for repair please email jim@spiritofeq.com. Please reference your Name, Address, Order Number, Repair Issue and a photo of the damaged piece. You will be provided a Repair Authorization Number which must be clearly labeled on the package.

    We will repair any breakage caused by manufacturer defect at no charge within 120 days of receipt of purchase. Repairs needed after 120 days or deemed to be caused by misuse will incur a repair charge at the customer’s expense. Repairs will be assessed on an individual basis.

    - Gemstone Care:

    - Diamonds: Clean with a mixture of warm water and mild soap. Use a soft brush to clean around the setting. Rinse and dry with a soft cloth.

    - Pearls: Wipe with a damp cloth after wearing. Avoid soaking them in water, and store them flat to prevent stretching.

    - Colored Gemstones: Check specific care instructions, as some stones (like opals and emeralds) may require special handling. Generally, use a soft cloth and avoid harsh chemicals.

    - Professional Cleaning: Schedule a professional cleaning and inspection at least once a year, especially for intricate pieces or those with valuable gemstones.

    3. Specific Care for Different Metals

    - Gold Jewelry:

    - Cleaning: Use a mild soap solution and a soft cloth. Avoid abrasive cleaners that can scratch the surface.
